For over thirty years LoDanMex, together with its sister company LoDan Electronics, INC., has been growing with the electronics industry. Building its business on interconnect technology and contract manufacturing. The story of LoDanMex Electronics has been the story of the electronics business. Cross-functional teams are utilized with both customer and supplier relationships on product development projects to reduce cycle time and demonstrate value. Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) to assist customers is a key ingredient for success. The LoDanMex team analyzes customer needs at the very earliest phases of the design/manufacturing process. The result is reduced material cost and higher quality output levels. Change is a constant. It is inevitable. And in the electronics industry, it is rapid. LoDanMex's production facilities in Puebla, Mexico are equipped with top of the line machinery and the most cost efficient processes to ensure high quality and very competitive cost to our customers. Process & Testing Capabilities
LoDanMex employs a Flexible Manufacturing strategy to support even the most dynamic customer scheduling requirements. LoDanMex's manufacturing group is organized into three Strategic Business Units (SBU's). • Coax Assembly: produces RF cable assemblies and Heliax assemblies • General Assembly • Contract Manufacturing LoDanMex runs under he “Lean Manufacturing” philosophy which ensures that our processes are the most efficient and competitive within the industry. This translates into high quality and competitive price for our customers. The workforce is cross-trained to obtain maximum flexibility by moving personnel within the SBU's as demand fluctuates. By having highly trained and motivated employees LoDanMex maintains a constant skilled work force with negligible turn-over rates. The LoDanMex team has always believed in using the latest technology to drive productivity. LoDanMex incorporates T-1 facilities to interface electronically with customers, sales field representatives, and suppliers. We offer integrated connectivity with all functions to enable employees to improve efficiencies and enhance customer support. Bar Code technology is used throughout the manufacturing and material control processes to increase productivity and improve accuracy.
Quality Initiatives
Customer satisfaction is our most important goal. To achieve it we strive to deliver products with zero defects. The tools utilized to reach our goal start from the design stage which allows us to deliver low cost/high quality products. We keep individual records of our personnel’s abilities and constantly work to improve our work force by applying tailor-made training programs. We use Statistic Process Control in all three SBU´s and in the case of our more complex harnesses; we test 100of the production. LoDanMex´s quality system complies with ISO9001:2000 directives. We also provide products registered under Underwriters Laboratories Inc to meet the needs of some of our customers. LoDanMex´s process yields RoHS compliant products for our international customers. As a result of these quality directives, LoDanMex has achieved a continuous improvement in its quality metrics. Today we run at less than 200 PPM defects and we will continue to improve.

The Mexico Advantage
LoDanMex´s production facility is located in Puebla, Mexico. With offices in Mexico and the US we can serve our customers promptly and efficiently. Mexico is the fastest growing economy in Latin America, with over 30 Free Trade agreements throughout the world. Particularly, Mexico is home to most of the Fortune 500 companies. Competitive labor rates and proximity to the United States as well as a mature world manufacturing and business culture, make Mexico the ideal location for off-shore cable assembly production. Mexico is likely to remain competitive with new and cheaper labor markets. We see Mexico as the gateway to other markets in South America and take advantage of its flexible labor market necessary to industries characterized by constant design changes. Machinery, raw materials, components and supplies are easily and quickly transported to our facility in Puebla and the finished products are just as easily returned to the U.S. Truly central Mexico is an ideal place for manufacturing and distribution in the Americas.
Why Puebla?
Puebla is one of the most important industrial cities in central Mexico thanks to its privileged geographical location, skilled workforce and dedicated private sector which supports industrial development. The city has greatly benefited from its proximity to both Mexico City and the port of Veracruz. In Puebla, education is valued very highly and the government has invested heavily to improve the educational system. In fact, the State of Puebla occupies the 2nd place nationally in educational infrastructure. Puebla is the home to Volkswagen. With more than 10000 workers this assures a constant pool of skilled and stable workforce. Given its central location, Puebla provides quick access to the three main NAFTA corridors via Mexico City
